The National Museum in Wrocław is one of the largest and most important art museums in Poland. The museum has four branches: the main one, the National Museum in Wrocław, the Racławice Panorama, the Ethnographic Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art in the Four Domes Pavilion.

As a result of the competition, we were chosen to create a new website for the National Museum in Wrocław. The aim of the project was to create a single, coherent, functional and visually attractive website, instead of four separate pages dedicated to each of the branches.

/ Ethnographic Museum

The branch of the Ethnographic Museum organizes exhibitions devoted to the heritage and cultural identity of the inhabitants of Lower Silesia.

/ National Museum in Wrocław

The National Museum is the largest museum institution in Wrocław, presenting collections in four locations dedicated to classical art, contemporary art and ethnography. The project assumptions included creating a common website instead of the four previously existing ones, based on a new visual identification and transferring data from the institution's almost twenty years of activity on the Internet.

/ Racławice Panorama

An important element of the project is the presentation of the Racławice Panorama, an iconic attraction of Wrocław visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year.

/ Museum of Contemporary Art in the Four Domes Pavilion

The Four Domes Pavilion presents a permanent collection of contemporary art and organizes frequent temporary exhibitions. Their presentation is facilitated by the Calendar of Events available on the website. The rich activities of the branch are complemented by workshops, lectures and meetings presented in the Education section.

The branch of the Ethnographic Museum organizes exhibitions devoted to the heritage and cultural identity of the inhabitants of Lower Silesia.

01 In place of the previous separate pages of the branches, a completely new, coherent structure of the service was created. Data was transferred to a new, common CMS using programming tools created for this purpose.

02 We have created many tools that enable efficient use of the portal: a calendar, an exhibition information system, advanced search and sorting of information. Color codes assigned to each branch facilitate navigation through the website.

03 In a tight deadline, we built a modern, multi-level and intuitive portal in a beautiful, unique graphic design. The portal functions as a tool for many groups of recipients. It is a modern, friendly face of an institution with long traditions.
